I play the female lead, Phoenix in Cirque du Soleil’s first live action series, Big Top Academy.

Set in a fictitious circus arts boarding school, Big Top Academy tells the story of an extraordinary group of young acrobats who dream of becoming professional circus artists. The series, the first ever live-action kids series for Cirque du Soleil, transports young viewers to the exciting and colorful circus universe.

**Phoenix** is an independent skateboarder who is not afraid to speak her mind. Everything Phoenix knows, she’s picked up from the basketball court, the skateboard park, parkour, and working at her family’s diner. She’s never taken a circus class, let alone a gymnastics lesson! So she never expected to be a circus artist. She quickly learns that the circus embraces people from all walks of life. The things that make her unique - her street smarts, her bluntness, her aversion to everything ‘fancy’ - only help to make her a well-rounded circus artist.
